Our client is a well established, financially sound and profitable Property and Casualty Insurance Company. Due to growth we are seeking a Supervisor of Accounting Projects, at the Home Office. This position is responsible for coordinating the preparation of reports and surveys for rating agencies, such as A.M. Best. The candidate will assist with due diligence analysis of potential merger and acquisition prospects. This position will initiate changes needed for compliance and regulatory purposes, and will be responsible for research related to the area, and other special projects. The position requires a CPA designation, as well as thorough knowledge of statutory and GAAP accounting and reporting requirements. Knowledge of NASD and SEC accounting and reporting requirements is also desired. Insurance background is required.
