Our client has a long history of financial stability and is currently rated A (excellent) by A.M.Best. They offer a wide range of insurance products, including auto, home and business coverages, and serve several states including: Ohio, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Iowa, and Wisconsin. They currently offer an opportunity to join their underwriting team as a Commercial Lines Underwriter. This newly created role is a result of their continued growth. In this position, you will be responsible for a territory consisting of GA and/or KY and will involve new and renewal business. Coverages include Commercial Auto, Property, GL and Work Comp. Account sizes will range from smaller to middle market in premium size. To be considered, you must offer around two (2) to three (3) years of applicable commercial lines underwriting experience. This could be an ideal opportunity for someone in a junior underwriter role to take the next step into a full authority underwriting position. Salary will depend upon experience, though the hiring range target is around $38,000 to $45,000. Excellent benefits.
