Lexington Manager, Pharmacy Accounts
 

Our client is one of the nation's leading healthcare management and information services companies. They are seeking a qualified candidate to manage their MMIS Pharmacy program in Lexington, KY. This individual will manage all operational functions and programs for contract compliance and status. You will provide clinical support to the assigned accounts and conduct DUR committee meetings. Will also maintain clinical databases required for the clinical programs included in the services provided to the client. Duties will also include preparing monthly and annual status reports including but not limited to monthly processing statistics, clinical program progress and cost savings, new program implementations, and system requests status. Relationship skills are crucial as this individual will develop and maintain strong relations with all levels at a state Medicaid organization, provider associations, and the company's management team to insure good operational effectiveness and communication. Will provide the interface between the client and the provider (both physician and pharmacist) community. This interface may include Provide CE training sessions, introduction of client specific programs, presentation and review of program results involving the provider community, provider newsletter preparation, responding to individual phone calls and letters from the provider community.

Qualified candidates will have Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy and 5-7 years of clinical pharmacy experience. Previous management experience in Medicaid and Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS) operations and knowledge of HIPAA preferred. Individual must have current pharmacist license.
