They offer a 'Superior' rating by A.M. Best. They presently offer an opportunity to join their Farm underwriting department in California. As a Senior Farm Underwriter you will accept, retain and price commercial/farm insurance risks in conformance with established underwriting policies, practices and standards. You will be responsible to work within broad limits and authority on farm underwriting assignments of high technical complexity and consideration. Provide guidance and assistance to lower level underwriters and other functional areas. To be considered you will need to offer around three or more years Farm underwriting experience. You must be able to demonstrate strong knowledge of /farm underwriting policies, practices and procedures. Rating plans and plan concepts.
