Our client has provided specialized insurance products and related services to their niche market for 80 years. They are a commercial insurance carrier with superior financial results. They currently offer an opportunity to join their loss control team. This Loss Control Consultant position is a home-based position located in the San Francisco-Sacramento metro areas and will cover northern CA, OR, WA, UT, NV and Idaho. In this position you will provide and coordinate consultative risk improvement service to larger accounts, and conduct underwriting hazard assessments on more complex prospective and written accounts. To be considered, you will need to offer a four-year degree in Industrial Safety or safety related area. Along with around three or more years experience in safety/loss prevention with a minimum of 2 years in the insurance industry. You must also be able to demonstrate a strong technical background with a working knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, CDL, DOT, EPA standards. Experience within an automotive dealer insurance program ideal. Related insurance industry coursework preferred with ASP and/or CSP desired. Our client offers a competitive salary/benefits package.
