Our client is a highly rated, financially strong Property and Casualty Commercial Lines Insurance Company. Due to profitable growth we are seeking a Commercial Lines Marketing Director, to join their growing staff in Connecticut. Responsibilities include administering the organizations marketing strategy, relationship building, and communicating an effective and consistent message to it's group of independent agents. The Marketing Director is also responsible for developing, communicating and monitoring branch growth strategies and goals; handling and resolving a variety of agency issues, and maintaining closeness to the market through agency visitations, participation in agency meetings and professional endeavors. You will also be involved with agency compensation plans. Successful candidates will possess a bachelors degree or equivalent experience in the commercial property and casualty insurance industry; 7 plus years experience in commercial insurance marketing or underwriting; and excellent verbal, written and presentation skills. You will be part of a fast paced, dynamic team of underwriting and marketing professionals, where you will be able to make a difference, and be close to the customer. CPCU and or other insurance designations would be helpful. Excellent compensation package, with relocation benefits for out of state candidates.
