Our client is a leader in the insurance industry and one of the largest insurance carriers in the world. They offer a 'Superior' rating by A.M. Best. They presently have available an opportunity to join their claims team in Denver, CO as a Physical Damage Claims Manager. In this role you will be responsible for managing the technical claims operations of the physical damage unit. This position requires you possess demonstrated decision-making skills, including the ability to recognize, analyze and improve claims performance situations such as loss control, LAE, customer satisfaction, employee development and morale. You will be responsible for assisting with managing the claims processes. Coordinate efforts with other claims functions such as claims legal, subrogation, SIU. You will manage the responses to complaints; communicates complaint trends and create action plans to solve claims adjusting problems. Provides input to Best Practices process for long-term solution to problems. Ensure customer satisfaction. Responsible for the management of associates including: performance management, salary planning and administration, training and development, workflow planning, hiring and placement, and disciplinary actions. To be considered you will need to offer around seven years in a field technical claims operation handling physical damage claims including at least two years in claims management.
