Our client is a leading international insurance and financial services organization. They currently offer an opportunity to join their dynamic environment in Los Angeles. Responsibilities include day-to-day management of the policy form filing function (and related state contractual compliance items) in the variable annuity industry. This position reports in through the Legal Department and fulfills a critical role in the path to new product development and product enhancements. The function is responsible for drafting and submission of annuity contracts for 50 state review and approval; including all follow-through, tracking and negotiation required to obtain and maintain state approvals. The manager will be responsible for supervision of existing staff and will have regular client contact during the development, filing and implementation stages of the form filing process. Candidate must be an analytical, creative thinker and assertive leader. Able to maintain composure and focus while juggling competing priorities on a daily basis.
