Our client is a leading provider of financial products and services for individuals and businesses, including life insurance, annuities, mutual funds, retirement plans and employee benefits. They currently offer an opportunity in their Colorado operation for a seasoned life insurance underwriting professional. As Director of Underwriting, you will be responsible for managing the individual life underwriting function and achieving company life underwriting objectives. To be considered, you must offer at least 10 or more years of technical underwriting experience, preferably with management or supervisory experience in the brokerage market. You will be working with large cases of $20 to $30 million in face amounts; therefore, your technical competence in financial underwriting is a must. Reinsurance experience a plus. Insurance designations such as ALU, CLU or FLMI designation preferred. Must have $5,000,000 approval authority. Relocation assistance is available. Salary will depend upon experience.
