They presently offer an opportunity to join their organization as the Manager of Reinsurance Administration. In this position you will be responsible for most aspects of the administration and accounting of our client's reinsurance business to external reinsurers. Included in this will be administration of new business, maintenance of the inforce business, generating premium bills, reviewing non-ledger and cash entries, performing other monthly and quarterly financial reporting functions, processing reinsurance death claims, generating reserve reports, providing reinsurance-related entries for annual statement, calculation of transactions for all coinsurance treaties, and assisting the Second Vice President in all administrative matters. To be considered you will need to offer an undergraduate degree (Mathematics or Accounting major preferred), FLMI designation (achievement of Associate, Reinsurance Administration designation is required within 3 years of hiring), around 5 years of applicable insurance experience, accounting experience preferred along with knowledge of statutory accounting principles.
