Our client is a stable, financially strong company. Ward Financial Group regularly has named them as one of 50 outstanding property and casualty insurance companies in the United States. A.M. Best has consistently given them an "Excellent" or "Superior" rating. They have an opportunity available in eastern, IA to be part of their claims team. In the position of Claims Adjuster, you will investigate and settle both property and liability claims. This includes: Conduct telephone interviews, taking recorded statements from insured, claimants, witnesses and others possessing facts concerning the claim. Review and interpret policy coverage's to determine whether claim is payable under the policy. Negotiate with contractors or repair facilities regarding extent of damage and method of repair. Recover salvage and sell to appropriate salvage buyer.
To be considered you must offer around two or more years of applicable experience in a claims capacity. Work towards completion of the AIC designation or completed AIC designation a plus.
