Our commercial property and casualty insurance client is a well known, family friendly, A rated insurance company. Due to profitable growth, and to position them strategically for 2006, we are seeking a professional Marketing Director to join their management team in Connecticut. Responsibilities for this position include, ensuring that the company's marketing strategy, appetite for risk, and overall message to independent agents are effective and consistent. The marketing director is also responsible for developing, communicating and monitoring regional growth strategies and goals; handling and resolving a variety of agency issues, and maintaining closeness to the market through agency visitations, participation in agency meetings and professional endeavors. Successful candidates should possess a bachelor degree or equivalent experience in the insurance industry; ten years experience in commercial insurance marketing and or underwriting; and have excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
