Our client is a regional carrier with a long successful tradition in the Midwest and western part of the US. They offer an excellent rating by AM Best. They are a growing and progressive company. They are currently seeking a Loss Control Supervisor to oversee their Loss Control Department. This position will be based in their Des Moines, IA operation and will supervise the activities of the Loss Control field staff in the performance of exposure evaluations, recommendations for risk improvement and the implementation of necessary safety programs. To be considered you will need around eight years applicable experience within the Property and Casualty Insurance industry. An engineering degree or the equivalent experience in industrial safety is mandatory. Knowledge of local, state and federal standards and laws regarding safety and loss prevention is required. Professional designations, such as CSP, ALCM or ARM are preferred. Your leadership skills and enthusiasm for the loss control profession will get you noticed. Base pay will depend on your experience.
