Our client, an industry leader, is currently searching for a Director of Procurement. If you are a procurement professional looking for challenge and growth, this opportunity may be for you! The required background would include experience in purchasing and planning experience with an emphasis in international sourcing. Pacific Rim or low cost country sourcing is needed. CPM or CPIM certifications a plus! Strong background in developing strategy, successful cost negotiations, and driving cost reduction efforts is needed. Travel requirements 50%.
