The purpose of the position is to support and expand our leading client's commitment to educate it's readers on industry “tools of trade”. 

Responsibilities

  1. Writes technical articles for publication in magazines.

 

  1. Creates and maintains product instructions (“how to” articles) for existing products, new products, and new product uses for the web and print media.

 

  1. Ghost writes articles for trade magazines.

 

  1. Develops content for specialty newsletters

 

  1. Develops relevant copy for customer segments in the marketplace.

 

  1. Develops and maintains relationships with industry contacts.

 

  1. Participates in coordination of display of graphics and the publication of company documents.

 

  1. May participate on new products team to find and develop new products and other technically oriented projects.

 

  1. May participate in the following areas:
    1. Copywriting/editing
    2. Label Instructions
    3. Editing

 

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in English/Journalism, or equivalent experience.

6-8 Years relevant experience with progressive responsibilities

Excellent communication skills

Knowledge of trade publications
