Our client, an industry leader, located in Southern Illinois, is searching for a Plant Manager to join its team. This position will be responsible for directing the overall production operations for the plant by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. Coordinating production and distribution, understanding and having the ability to train in Toyota Production Systems, develop plan for efficient use of materials, machines, and employees. This position will also be reviewing production costs and product quality as well as modifying production and inventory control programs, maintaining plant budget and managing key positions in the organization. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree with significant manufacturing management experience. Knowledge of TS16949, TQM, JIT and TPS are preferred. This position requires superior oral and written communication skills.
