Our client, an industry leader, located in Southern Illinois, is searching for a Production Engineering Manager to join its team. This position will be responsible for ensuring technical support to the manufacturing group, product launch teams and Facilities Engineering. If you are looking for a growing company, this may be the opportunity for you! Other duties for the position include: ensuring process control systems for all production processes, providing training to assure capability of implementing control system, assisting in continuous improvement, and developing department annual goals and oversee the input of Bill of Materials. The ideal candidate will have a BS in Engineering, MBA or MS in Engineering preferred, along with substantial manufacturing management experience. Strong knowledge of manufacturing techniques and philosophies as well as good verbal and written communication skills is desired. Previous demonstrated planning and organizational performance is needed to be successful in this role. Previous automotive manufacturing experience is helpful.
