Our client, a consumer goods manufacturer in North Mississippi, is seeking a Design Engineer. The position will have the responsibility of designing, developing and releasing to production new and re-designed assemblies while working within a team atmosphere. The successful candidate is dependable, timely, and will to do what it takes to get the job done. He or she is willing and able to learn and works well in a team environment. Also, the successful candidate will have a diverse set of skill from standard engineering practices to excellent communication and people relation skills. A bachelor’s degree in engineering is required, preferably with emphasis in mechanical engineering. Knowledge of 3D Parametric CAD, knowledge of electronics, structures or prototyping is preferred. A minimum of 3 years product design experience in related fields is required. Experience in manufacturing environments is a plus.
