Our client, a durable consumer goods Fortune 500 company in Central Iowa, is seeking a Senior Buyer. This position has high potential for promotional opportunities!!! The successful candidate will have 3+ years of procurement experience at a senior level within a high-volume manufacturing setting. Experience in lean manufacturing techniques including pull systems and Kanban is needed along with experience with e-commerce and MRP. Experience with supplier evaluation and development is must! BA Degree in Materials/Business or related field required. The ability to work with other plants within a corporate structure is required. Working knowledge of SAP a plus.
