Our client, an established manufacturer of consumer durable goods, is currently looking for a senior level buyer to join their team due to growth. This individual will be responsible for outsourcing activities in a complex commodity environment. The desired candidate will be a degreed professional with 5+ years sourcing experience. Commodity experience with aluminum, vinyl or wood is beneficial and APICS certification (CPM) is also highly desirable. Experience in supplier development, negotiation and excellent communication skills and solid project management skills are a must!
