Our client, a nonunion manufacturer of commercial products, is currently searching for a leader in continuous improvement for their state of the art distribution area! Responsibilities include management and leadership of the CI function through developing and implementing lean production/process methods and controls to meet standards in the most efficient manner. · Train CI members and direct the training for the facility's members in kaizen. · Plan, schedule and direct all CI activities and team events in coordination with factory priorities. · Work with all operations leadership to drive continuous improvement through analyzing and performing a variety of engineering assignments. · Recommend and implement improvements or modifications in sequence and flow of operations, equipment utilization, and various operational matters. · Monitor assigned operations to assure compliance with approved methods and quality standards. · Review proposals of outside vendors regarding the purchase of new or modifications of existing production equipment.
