Our client, an industry leader in electronic manufacturing, has an immediate need for a Component Engineer. This position is responsible for maintaining the company’s database of all components, process component vendor qualification requests, process ECN’s, review BOM’s, support end-of-life analysis, and research new processes.
This is a highly technical professional position that requires extensive knowledge in the field of electronics.
Successful candidates must have an engineering degree. BSEE preferred. Minimum of 5-7 years experience working in the electronics manufacturing environment or component engineering supplier environment is needed. Must have extensive knowledge of types of electronic components, terminology, vendors, and basic functionality. Some travel is required (5-10%).
