Our client, a leading Minnesota manufacturer, is searching for a Welding Engineer! This highly visible position is responsible for the planning, organizing and directing of the technical aspects of all types of welding processes and training. The requirements include the ability to plan and administer a weld training class for non-welders up to four times per year. A four-year Welding Engineer degree or equivalent in demonstrated experience is required. A minimum of five years experience in a weld-engineering role is preferred. The candidate must be able to establish and document processes in accordance with national weld standards for Certified ROPS welding. The candidate must have demonstrated welding skills and currently hold a Society Certified Welding Inspector designation. Good communication skills are a must. Analytical problem-solving and statistical comprehension skills are required. A competitive benefit and salary package are offered.
